Le Cosif est une instance décentralisée de la fédération française de spéléologie.
Il regroupe – depuis 1966 – l’ensemble des spéléologues d’Île-de-France (région spéléo « A »), organisés localement au sein de comités départementaux spéléologiques (CDS).
